Setting Hong Kong up as a SAR will be tantamount to administrative intervention in Hong Kong.

Status quo will not be maintained under the SAR arrangement.

Hong Kong as a SAR of China will only cause chaos and discoordination within the Chinese administrative setup.

If China and Britain want to maintain HK's prosperity and stability, it would be best if status quo be preserved.

Chinese policies will change with the change of leadership.. There are no safeguards for Hong Kong.

Hong Kong's international status will be adversely affected if it becomes a SAR.

The Chinese administrative and legislative systems are insecure and incapable of inspiring confidence.
