THE PRIME MINISTER'S VISITS TO CANADA AND THE UNITED STATES
657) 1.
Please refer to my minute of 22 September.
W
2. We have now been told that the Prime Minister will not require a round-up on Tuesday 27 September, nor the morning of Wednesday 28 September. Instead she would like a round-up, covering both days, to be waiting for her when she arrives in Washington on Wednesday afternoon.
3. I should therefore be grateful if departments would note that no contribution is necessary on Tuesday 27 September and that contributions on Wednesday 28 September should now reach Planning Staff by 1600 hours.
4. The arrangements for Thursday 29 September and Friday 30 September still stand (ie contributions are required by 10.30 hours at the latest), although, since Thursday's telegram will follow hard on the heels of Wednesday's, there is unlikely to be much to report in it.
