LORD RHODES' VISIT TO CHINA

Lady Young has been following the recent minuting on this subject with some interest. She feels that her meeting with Lord Rhodes and Lady Llewelyn-Davies on 22 September is going to be difficult and has asked whether there is anything unrelated to Hong Kong that Lord Rhodes could usefully do

for us during his visit to China. I should be grateful if this point could be covered in the briefing for Lady Young's meeting which should please reach me by close of play on 20 September.
