3. I know that Mr Luce would like to leave Hong Kong as early as may be convenient on Thursday 29 September. He has mentioned to me the possibility of leaving for London on the Wednesday evening (28/9), but I see that it is suggested that he attends a dinner hosted by SDA and presume therefore that his departure on that evening would not be possible.
