it may be difficult to fit in a visit. It would also be difficult

for other guests whom Mr Luce might wish to invite. I therefore

recommend that the lunch should take place at Lancaster House.

Reception

6.

The Governor has suggested that the Unofficials should host the

reception at Carlton Gardens on the evening of 5 July. If Mr Luce

agrees, the Hong Kong Government will provide a guest list of about

50-60, and meet the costs.
