TUITION FEES FOR HONG KONG STUDENTS IN U.K.

Thank you for your letter of 9 April on the subject of tuition fees for Hong Kong students in the United Kingdom,

I have conveyed a copy of your letter to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London so that they may be aware of the views expressed by the Unofficial Members on this issue.

As you say, there is a need to finalise the details of the joint-funding scheme as soon as possible, The Administration hope to bring a paper on this subject before the Executive Council in the near future.
