10. An ODA Agricultural Adviser has just returned from a visit to the Islands where he discussed the staffing and work programme of the Grasslands Trial Unit, the appointment of an Agricultural Officer - all the subject of proposals in the Shackleton Report.
11. The Falkland Islands Government have just purchased a large farm in the Islands with financial support (£450,000) provided by HMG from the aid programme.
