Her Majesty's Principal Secretary of State for Foreign and
Commonwealth Affairs presents his compliments to

His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Liberia
and has the honour to inform the Ambassador that the
request contained in the Ambassador's Note of 23 September
was transmitted to the Governor of Hong Kong, that the
Governor of Hong Kong will issue an order to a magistrate
on 15 November 1982, and that the magistrate will then fix
a date for the extradition hearing, which is likely to be
in January or February 1983.
The Secretary of State avails himself of this opportunity
to express to the Ambassador the assurance of his highest
consideration.
