Your humble petitioner accepts and avers that by allowing himself to

became involved in the Robbery and Killing of the two victims, he has offended

against the Law of this Colony and morality in the most grevious manner. He accepts and avers that nothing can be urged on his behalf in relation to the offence itself, save that your humble Petitioner would not have taken part in the Robbery had he realised that it would result in the deaths of the two

victims.

Your humble petitioner, however, does aver that the offences of murder

were not premeditated and he now bitterly regrets the death of the victims. chain of event developed in such a way as to be beyond the control of your humble

petitioner.

Your humble Petitioner promises that never again will he allow himself

to be involved in such an occurrence and that he will never forget the distress and anguish that he has brought upon his family and the victims. He will henceforth use his best endeavour to lead an honest and industrious life.

Your humble petitioner appeals to His Excellency The Governor to exercise the Royal Prerogative of Mercy for the act of your humble petitioner by commuting his present sentence of Death by substituting therefor one of

imprisonment.
