His body was discovered at the hillside on the 22nd October where it had apparently rolled down the hillside onto the road, and at
this time it had in excess of 30 stab wounds, two of which were
fatal and a number of cut wounds, one of which resulted in the deceased being practically beheaded, his head only remain attached
to the body by the vertebrae.
So far as the 1st defendant was concerned, it was common
ground that he was involved from the 16th October up until the 19th October 1979, but there was a dispute about the degree of
involvement. It was the 1st defendant's case that he was merely approached on the 16th October to give advice to

The 1st defendant was clearly lying about his degree of
involvement in this matter. The jury obviously accepted
evidence that the 1st defendant's involvement was much greater than
he would have the court believe. He came into the picture on the 16th immediately after the swindle. He was very interested and
concerned in the whole matter on the 17th October taking part in
an operation whereby
was taken to a hillside and beaten up to make him divulge the whereabouts of the deceased. As a result of information gained from this operation he went with Ah Woon to
the Wong Do Ballroom in Kowloon in order to look for the deceased.
A search which proved to be unsuccessful. He was again at
Ngau Tau Kok flat on the 18th October 1979 sometime after 3 p.m.
