From this assessment, it can be concluded that POON is neither a violent nor a treacherous person. His remorse for his crime and his desire for rehabilitation are genuine. The assessment also suggests that his self-image is currently beset by a sense of insecurity. This might be ameliorated if he is granted a definite sentence, which can enable him to rebuild his hopes of returning to the community.
