To whom it may concern,
he
was born in a Christian family, and has been familiar with Christianity since childhood. Moreover has a good family background as his father, when alive, had been a missionary.
attended middle school at the Henrietta School, which was operated by our Church, and during his school days, he took part in various meetings and activities organized by our Church, including Training Union, Sunday service, Sunday school etc. Once he was determined to dedicate himself to the service of the Lord, He was exceedingly enthusiastic about all kinds of Church work and always ready to go to others' assistance. He was upright by nature and imbued with the spirit of enterprise and perseverence.
After his
While he was in school, he entered many singing, composi- tion and other contests and he often managed to win. In sports he was an outstanding player on the basket ball team. graduation from middle school, he found a steady job. From what I can observe, his infringement of the law on this occa- sion was purely a rash act in a moment of weakness, which is deeply to be regretted. After he committed this offence, I have visited him in prison many times and I also baptized him in prison. I saw him crying his heart out, betraying a feeling of extreme repentance. From what I personally know of him, dare say he is a youth of pure thoughts and good conduct. therefore venture to plead on his behalf that he be allowed a new lease of life, taking pity on his momentary slip, and that a lighter sentence be passed on him, for which I myself would also be eternally grateful.
