An Ordinance to amend the Fire Services Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Fire Services (Amendment) Short title. Ordinance 1982.

2. Section 8(5) of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting Amendment of "$2,000" and substituting the following-

"$5,000".

Section 9 of the principal Ordinance is amended-

(a) in subsection (3)—

(i) by deleting "$2,000" and substituting the following-

"$25,000"; and

(ii) by deleting "$40" and substituting the following —

(b) in subsection (9)(a)—

"$2,500"; and

(i) by deleting "$4,000" and substituting the following-

"$50,000"; and

(ii) by deleting "$100" and substituting the following-

section 8. (Cap. 95.)

Amendment of section 9.

"$5,000".

Section 24 of the principal Ordinance is amended-

(a) in subsection (1) by deleting "35 feet" and substituting the

following-

"11 metres"; and

(b) in subsection (2) by deleting "$500" and substituting the follow-

ing-

Section 27 of the principal Ordinance is amended—

(a) in subsection (1) by deleting "$1,000" and substituting the

following-

"$2,000"; and

(b) in subsection (2) by deleting "$250” and substituting the follow-
