You commented on 30 July on Mr Margolis' letter of 23 July on this subject. I subsequently replied to Mr Margolis on 3 August and Mr Walker of the Research Department has provided a great deal of information in response to the questions that you posed in paragraph (iv) of your minute. As you will see, copies of maps showing the location of Kowloon City will follow, and Mr Walker is willing to try to find the reports on the Kowloon City and New Territories surveys of 1901 if you so wish. Perhaps you could contact him if you need any additional information before commenting further on Mr Margolis' letter?
