Khandogy (Ukranian SSR) and the Committee's invited speaker, Abdul S Minty, Director of World Campaign Against Military and Nuclear Collaboration with South Africa, should be granted entry to Hong Kong to participate in an Asian Students' Association seminar on Asian Youth and Student Action against Apartheid in South Africa due to take place in Hong Kong on 28

30 December.

RECOMMENDATION

I recommend that entry be granted to S Yamusah and A S Minty but not to V D Khandogy. UND, SAFD, FED and MVD

concur.

On 24 November UKMis New York sent us a copy of a request by the Chairman of the UN SCAA for visas for Hong Kong for two representatives of SCAA - Salifa Yamusah (Ghana) and Vladimir D Khandogy (Ukrainian SSR) - to participate in a seminar in Hong Kong on 28 30 December on Asian Youth and Student Actions against Apartheid in South Africa. The seminar is being organised by the Asian Students' Association The Chairman of SCAA also requested a visa for Abdul S Minty, Director, World
