In Humphrey Alkin's
The Factories and Industrial Undertakings Ordinance
and subsidiary regulations provide for the introduction
of control over the use of harmful substances including
carcinogenic chemicals, but the Hong Kong Government
have not found it ncessary to prescribe any measures
under them so far. 189 staff are engaged in inspection
and enforcement duties under the Ordinance.
