It has come to our attention that the Hong Kong Immigration Department has so far refused to extend the period of stay allowed to Christine Vertucci who has formerly held an employment visa.
Ms Vertucci is a person of good character who is held in high regard by members of the Social Science research community. Our organisation has no hesitation in supporting her in her appeal to have her employment visa extendod.
Please give every consideration to allowing her to continue her work in Hong Kong.
