Dear Sir:

It has been brought to our attention that the Hong Kong Immigration Department has refused to grant Miss Christine Vertucci an extension on her employment visa. On behalf of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in its relations with the Hong Kong Christian Council, the Church of Christ in China in Hong Kong, the Christian Con- ference of Asia and numerous North American denominations which have served in Hong Kong for thirty years, we want to urge that you allow her to continue her work.

Please extend her visa. Our church considers her work very important and cooperates ecumenically in its support.
