Dear Christine,

In response to your request, the following is the text of aerograms forswarded to the Governor and the Chief Secretary.
"We have learnt of the Hong Kong Immigration Department's refusal to grant Christine Vertucci an extension of stay in Hong Kong.
On behalf of the Amalgamated Metal Workers and Shipwrights Union in Victoria, Australia which is the largest organisation of workers in the State, I express support for Christine Vertucci's appeal to have her employment visa extended.
We urge you to allow her to continue her work in Hong Kong".
