The governments of Dependent Territories (DTs) themselves arrange to obtain their supplies, either locally or through the Crown Agents or otherwise (eg questions relating to the supply of public Seals for DTs by the Royal Mint should be referred to the Crown Agents). Accommodation and Services Department (ASD) has no responsibility for any supplies but will give advice to DT Departments acting on behalf of DT Governments. The only exception to this rule is the supply of transfers of the Royal Arms for the panels of official cars of Governors, Commissioners and Administrators; these are obtained through Transport Section, ASD.
DT Governments frequently seek both the advice and assistance of DT geographical Departments in the procurement of arms, ammunition etc. Defence Department and the Overseas Police Adviser must always be informed and their advice taken in the answer to the DT.
