DIPLOMATIC SERVICE PROCEDURE

VOLUME 8: DEPENDENT TERRITORIES

1. A new Volume of Diplomatic Service Procedure about Dependent Territories has been prepared. The Volume replaces the Dependent Territories Departmental Practice Handbook which should now be destroyed.

2.

The Volume is being distributed to all Departments dealing with Dependent Territories. Overseas, the Volume will be sent to Governors under cover of a separate circular from Hong Kong and General Department.

3. The material in the new Volume is based on that contained in the Handbook, and has been revised and brought up-to-date.

Enquiries about this Volume should be addressed to Hong Kong and General Department. Requests for additional copies should be made to this Unit.
