I have been distressed to learn that a friend of mine,

Christine Vertucci, has been refused an extension of stay visa by the

Hong Kong Inmigration "epartment.

I have knowu Christine for several ye. in: find that she

contributes a lot to the people of ong Kong, by helping many who need

her support and expertise in their many problems of daily life. She

has been very law-abiding while here in liong Kong, and I uc aistressed

to hear of this denial of a visa for staying on in Hong Kong
