RBCs (resident UK belongers)

An RBC, i.e. a BC who has been
ordinarily resident in Hong Kong for a continuous
period of seven years, cannot be deported unless
the Governor in Council deems it to be conducive
to the public good on the ground that deportation
is necessary in the interest of the security of
Hong Kong or for political reasons affecting the
relations. of HMG in the UK with another country.
BDTCs in UK
4.
A BDTC immigrant to the UK will be
entitled, on application, to be registered as a
BC after five years ordinary residence (subject
to being free from immigration restrictions in
the last year of such residence). BCs cannot
be deported from the UK.
5.
A BDTC immigrant to the UK who has not
been registered as a BC (i.e. generally, he/she has
