An Ordinance to provide relief from estate duty and tax on donations to the Urban Council and for that purpose to amend the Estate Duty and the Inland Revenue Ordinances.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. (1) This Ordinance may be cited as the Urban Council (Donations) Short title and Ordinance 1981.

(2) Section 4 shall apply to the year of assessment commencing on

1 April 1981 and to subsequent years of assessment.
