Section 4(1) of the principal Ordinance is

in paragraph (b) by deleting the comma and

substituting a semicolon; and

(b) by inserting after paragraph (b) the

following

examine a person at any time if he

has reasonable cause for believing

that such person was born in Hong

Kong but does not have the right

to land in Hong Kong by virtue of

section 8(1) and, in contravention of section 7(2), remains in Hong

Kong without the permission of an immigration officer or immigration

assistant,".

Section 5 of the principal Ordinance is

(a) in subsection (4) by inserting after

"4(1)(a)" the following

"or (c)"; and
