You may like to be updated on the development on the subject since Secretary for Security's letter of 11 January 1982 to the Commissioner.

The present position is that 37 cases have been removed to China of whom 32 were removed after the birth of the child and 5 before confinement. All the 32 left their child in the care of their husband or his family in Hong Kong.

3.

The remaining 5 cases against whom removal orders have been served are being processed.
