Your minute of 5 November to Mr Wilson refers.

2. I attach an extract of a draft letter from NTD to the Home Office in support of both HKTA and HKTDC's candidature for designation under 5.16(3). I should be grateful for confirmation that the information contained in the draft is correct, especially on the point about the resemblance' between the HKTA and the BTA and that there is ammunition available to deal with any analogy argument.

3. Would you also please confirm the facts relating to HKTDC and fill in the gaps where appropriate.
