It must follow from what we have said above

that we are not persuaded that international law, in.

its present state, would regard as clearly established

a duty owed to another State to receive colonial...

belongers or non-belongers into the metropolitan territory

If

moreover, in the present state of customary-

international law, there is any duty owed to another State-

to receive UK nationals into the UK (and we cannot

regard this as being clearly established) it would ·

probably, in our opinion, be a duty in respect only

of those who could be regarded as having their home

in the UK.
