Thank you for your interim reply of 10th March. note that the Home Office has promised to keep us in touch with its thinking on the form of provision to replace paragraph 5 of the Immigration Rules and look forward to receiving details in due course.

2. Fortuitously Stephen Kuo, the Assistant Director of Immigration most closely concerned with this subject, will be on holiday in UK during the summer and will be free to call on the Home Office on either Tuesday 22nd June or Wednesday 23rd June; it would be helpful to know which of the two dates would be more convenient.
