light of consultations. Subject to the outcome of such
consultations the United Kingdom authorities see no
reason why the permits should provide after the end of
June for services in excess of what is reasonably required
to carry true origin and destination traffic between
Hong Kong and Tianjin/Nanjing.
The United Kingdom Government also values the friendly
and co-operative relations which have been established
between our two civil aviation authorities and looks
forward to the satisfactory resolution of this problem
through consultation within the framework of the ASA.
