Further to our telephone conversation I now attach a revised redraft, based on what I now understand to be the two options:-

Option A

Option B

UK recognizes Chinese sovereignty over HK but continues to administer territory

HK becomes Special Administrative Region of China under draft provision in new Chinese Constitution but UK continues to administer.

I have used references to Option A and B in the attached revise.

In view of the mention of ECGD in the revise I am copying this to Twyford ECGD.
