VISIT OF THE LORD PRIVY SEAL TO AUSTRALIA: 13-19 MARCH 1982

1. The LPS will visit Australia as an official guest from 13-19 March following visits to Fiji and New Zealand.

2. During his visit to Australia the LPS will have talks with the Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr Street, and possibly with the Prime Minister, Mr Fraser, and other Ministers. He will also call on the State Governors in New South Wales and Western Australia. I should be grateful, therefore, if you would let me have the following briefs (nine copies, unstapled, unpunched and unnumbered) in final form as per the attached examples by noon on 17 February: -
