ADDITIONAL CLAUSE CONCERNING LEASES

ANNEX D

For so long as Hong Kong is under the administration

of the UK., the authorities of Hong Kong may grant leases

of public land [in the New Territories/in Hong Kong] for

any period not exceeding [twenty five years] notwithstanding

that any such period may expire after the UK has ceased to

administer [the New Territories/Hong Kong].
