1. I attach a record of a meeting between the PUS and the Lord Mayor Elect of London, Sir Anthony Jolliffe, at which the latter outlined his ideas for visits abroad during his year of Office from 12 November 1982.

2. I should be grateful if departments would let me have comments on Sir Anthony Jolliffe's suggestions by close of play on Monday 15 November.

3. I should be glad to know if any of the copy addressees of this minute have suggestions for visits the Lord Mayor might make in which we would ourselves see positive advantage. I attach for information a list of visits made by previous Lord Mayors.
