I enclose a copy of Mr Thatcher's present programme. The Hong

Kong Government have confirmed that a meeting with Miss Lydia Dunn and

a visit to the Hong Kong Buying Office of Canadian Tyre can be

included in Mr Thatcher's programme on 27 September. They have not,

however, suggested any alternative to the trip to Castle Peak on the

Vosper Marine Hovercraft and are clearly keen that this should remain

in the programme.

The Hong Kong Government have also suggested the addition of 2

possible items in Mr Thatcher's programme for 28 September, which

presently shows a 'visit to a major development project where British

equipment and plant is being used'. One of these is a visit to the
