The Prime Minister will arrive in Hong Kong in the
afternoon of 26 September and leave in the evening of
28 September. The outline programme which she has approved
is already tight.
4.
Mr Donald consulted the Governor by telephone who agreed
that there would not be time to fit in a visit to the British
Council. He will, however, invite the British Council
Representative to the reception for the Prime Minister at
Government House on 27 September.
5.
The Private Office have consulted No 10 who have no
objections to our replying to Sir J Burgh as proposed.
