Mrs. Margaret Thatcher
Prime Minister
10, Downing Street,
London.
Dear Mrs. Thatcher,
7th June, 1982.
R12:4
In the recent years, there has been growing concern in Hong Kong about how its role is considered by the Government and legislators in London.
For this very reason, our publication decides to send me on a trip to London in the hope of interviewing people who have a say over and a mind of the Colony.
Our publication is the only Chinese magazine featuring local affairs in the Colony. For our readers' sake, I do hope my request for an interview with you might be accepted.
?
I am well aware that as Prime Minister, you are always engaged in tremendous task, so if you really cannot afford a time, would you kindly name a member in your Cabinet as your represen-
tative.
I am setting off early next month and so I should be most grateful if I can be sure your availability before the end of this month.
Looking forward to your favourable reply,
Yours Sincerely,
