1. Your note on the letter from No 10 below.

2. Pai Shing is a fortnightly magazine not only strongly pro-Taiwan but, also financed from there. It has little influence in Hong Kong and Sir Jack Cater, the Hong Kong Government Commissioner in London was not impressed with the editor Mr Wong when he met him earlier in the year.

3. I conclude that the Prime Minister should certainly not see Mr Wong, nor should an FCO Minister.
