I met Edward du Cann on the aeroplane coming back from Hong Kong and mentioned this to him and he said he would have a word with you. So if you have already heard from him please forgive me this repetition. But it did occur to me that Mr. Tung was so pathetically grateful even for the courtesy of your replying to his letter in 1976 and is so genuinely disposed to Britain that it would be a shame to throw it away.
