Consequently the National Work Textile Export Corporation in conjunction with the Leicester Spinners have a Mission in Hong Kong now, to promote their wares. I attach a copy of a list of the fabric products they are pushing particularly, on this occasion. We can only hope that some will be successful. The Hong Kong Government Office has offered to spread the message about these approaches round as many Hong Kong garment makers as possible. Nevertheless it may be possible for C T Division to supplement all this activity in their day-to-day contacts with the UK industry. My impression is that the latter now know the score pretty well, as regards Hong Kong.
