Thank you for your letter of 23 September. I am very sorry I did not respond earlier to the Chief Secretary's letter.
As you may now know, the Trade Commission have the programme in hand and we are asking them to keep you informed. The Committee have been in touch with the Hong Kong Government Office here who are providing some preliminary briefing and they would welcome an opportunity to meet representatives of the Government to discuss similar matters.
