OTHER ISSUES OF CONCERN
During the visit to Hong Kong two additional points arose which the Committee intend to follow up -
(1) the rates of pay and conditions of service of Gurkha soldiers.
(ii) the rebuilding plans for BMH Hong Kong which is in a bad state of repair and will cost £8m. to repair or must be rebuilt.
