Thank you for your letter of 25 February about the extension of the International Coffee Agreement 1976. We have written to Guernsey and Jersey as requested, and hope to be in a position to meet your deadline of

14 May.

We have also given the undertaking, implicit in your second paragraph, that the Islands will be consulted again when amendments have been agreed.
