1. When we wrote to Hong Kong in response to their enquiries this (Mr Clift's letter of 30 April to Eric' Ho) we under- took to let Hong Kong know when we had made a decision on the ILO proposals. I should be grateful if you would let me know whether a decision has yet been taken, so that I can inform Hong Kong.
