Attention is drawn to the 25th anniversary of the signature of the Treaties of Rome which falls on 25 March 1982. Events marking this anniversary will

take place in the Member States, and specific informa- tion material will be produced. The anniversary could well be a suitable occasion for a special effort of

some kind by the group of Information Officers. They

should contact the Commission for material in this

respect.

The Presidency of the Council of the European Communities avails itself of this opportunity of renewing to the Information Officers the assurance of its highest consideration.
