with Anand. On the other hand it would not be right to

make major inroads on the time available for discussion

of economic, commercial, aid and cultural matters, for whic

we plan to reserve the whole of the second day. An accep

table way of squaring this circle might perhaps be to

bring Anand on from 1600 to 1730, deferring the kick off

for your reception to (say) 1900.
