INTERVIEW BY THE PRIME MINISTER

FOR SCANDINAVIAN TELEVISION

NR

Further to my letter of 15 June I am now enclosing a copy of a letter I have received from Claus Toksvig giving a detailed rundown of the structure of the interview.

See

Unless there are any significant developments before the interview, I doubt that the Prime Minister will require any fresh briefing on the Falklands. However, it might be useful to have a few lines covering the other potential trouble spots that Claus has identified (ie Brunei, Hong Kong and Gibraltar).

The bulk of the briefing should concentrate on NATO, the Community and in particular Britain's relations with Denmark, the Luxembourg Compromise and the world economic scene.

As we discussed, I hope it will be possible for the briefing to reach me, in the form of points to make, by 3 pm tomorrow afternoon.
