Co-ordination Committee

To co-ordinate social and physical development in the New Territories.

The Committee met on 9.8.82 and 18.10.82. Major issues which have been examined include, inter-alia :

(a) urban improvement and/or renewal scheme for Tsuen Wan Central Area;

(b) provision of community

facilities in temporary housing areas;

(c) slope remedial works.

To continue a systematic examination of impending development in the New Territories districts to ensure proper community facilities are incorporated in the development process and that deficiencies are being rectified.
