(a) Following the adoption of revised pricing

arrangements for the Home Ownership Scheme, consideration has been given to exclusion of land values from the sale price of Middle Income Housing flats;

5. Housing

Authority Membership

To increase the permissible unofficial membership of the Housing Authority.

With the advent of District Administration the current permissible unofficial membership of the Authority (13, of whom 8 shall be Urban Councillors) is no longer considered appropriate. One of the provisions of the Housing (Amendment) Bill is to remove the limit on unofficial membership, and the requirement for a specified number of Urban Councillors to be appointed.

To introduce the Housing (Amendment) Bill into Legislative Council.
