To make the necessary consequential amendments to the Termination of Pregnancy Regulations resulting from the enactment of The Offences Against the Person

(Amendment) Ordinance 1981.

To review the existing legislation relating to dispensing, the employ- ment of pharmacists, and the need for training facilities.

To ensure that Hong Kong visitors will continue to be eligible for immediate necessary medical treat- ment during their temporary stay in U.K.

To amend the existing. legislation

(a) relating to

qualifications for registration, fees, etc.; and

(b) to revise the various

fees.

Draft Executive Council paper issued for discussion on 16 February 1982.

The Working Party under the Chairman- ship of the Hon. Alex S.C. Wu, OBE, JP, has held nine meetings. Drafting of the Report has commenced.

Final draft agreed with FCO/DHSS.

Revised draft Bill and Regulations circulated for comments. Draft Executive Council Memorandum under preparation.

To complete legislation action.

To submit draft Report for Members' approval, thence to Secretary for Social Services.

To finalise the Agreement.
